Sandwich Ministry

Sandwich donations continue to be accepted at Our Lady of Peace Church (OLP) in New Providence every Monday between 1:00 & 2:00, and can be dropped off at the auditorium kitchen.

St. Joseph’s Social Service Center in Elizabeth, St. John’s Soup Kitchen in Newark, Salvation Army in Plainfield, and Summit Helps Its People (SHIP) in Summit have been the beneficiaries.

Luncheon meat and cheese with no mayo, mustard, butter etc. or peanut butter and jelly are good donations. Put sandwiches in individual sandwich baggies and then back in the bread wrapper. Twist tie the wrapper and tape on paper label with kind of sandwiches and date made.
